A word about the website: ClunkyShoes.com, it is a term that was used when my wife wore a type of shoe that was very heavy, and chunky, with a thick sole, and heavy straps. We called them Clunky because Chunky just didn’t sound nice. After talking with some people about that type of shoe, people really don’t have a negative perception of the term Clunky when used in the context of shoes. So, in came the site.
